Critically endangered bird thriving at Bioparc Fuengirola

And the iconic anthropologist, aka ‘the chimp lady’, would be proud of the conservation park’s latest achievement.

The rare bird species Bali Starling was declared practically extinct in 2001 but, thanks to conservation programmes, it is alive and thriving at Bioparc.

The critically endangered white avian with its fetching mohican crest is still suffering from illegal poaching across the world today.
