Malaga is fastest growing province for number of house sales

MALAGA is one of the most popular places to live in Spain, with a boom in house sales focused on the coast.

The province is the fastest-growing in terms of property sales and the fourth-most popular destination overall.

In the past 12 months, 23,326 properties sold in Malaga, an 11.7% year-on-year increase, according to the College of Registrars for Property.

Madrid saw the most house sales with over 48,000 properties shifted, while Barcelona (34,402) came in second and Alicante (24,976) third.
