Malaga police force begin LGBT awareness training

A participants holds a rainbow flagPOLICE in Rincon de la Victoria are being ordered to undertake lesbian and gay awareness training.

The force is the first in the Axarquia to undergo LGBT ‘sensitivity training’ to combat homophobia and transphobia.

Backed by deputy mayor Antonio Moreno, it is being provided by the Rainbow Federation.

“The need to train all sectors of society on hate crimes and discrimination  is imperative to good policing,” said Moreno.
