Pre-summer sales spike hit Spain in July

Marbella drug propertyTHERE was a pre-summer spike for home sales in Spain, with record numbers recorded in June.

The General Council of Notaries registered 37,641 transactions, representing a 19.4% increase on the same period in 2014.

June marked the fourth consecutive month of year-on-year increases in home sales.

At the same time, average home price held relatively steady, at €1,260 per square metre.

GREAT!! – but aware of the photo of Edif Don Gonzalo as shown adjacent to the Marbella Beach & shopping, those prices have NOT gone down much during the recession, so a decent 3 BR apt there still costs about 1.6- 2.0 MM euros. + garage space and trastero. A bargain for such a location/secure investment.
