PRIME Minister Mariano Rajoy has mooted December 20 as a ‘likely’ date for Spain’s general election.
Rajoy confirmed that the election will take place in December with a seperate date in the month also being considered.
The latest polls show Rajoy’s PP are in the lead but the party faces stiff opposition with new anti-corruption party Podemos growing in stature.
There is a chance that Podemos will form a coalition with the PSOE in order to force out the PP.
