Spanish airport baggage handlers announce September strikes

BAGGAGE handlers at Spanish airports have announced that there will be a series of walkouts during September.

Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Malaga and Palma airports will all be affected.

Concrete details are yet to be confirmed but EasyJet and Vueling passengers are predicted to be worst affected.

Strikes across Spanish airports caused havoc in June and July, stranding travellers during peak holiday season.
