GIBRALTAR A-level results revealed that students are, perhaps not shockingly, most successful in Spanish.
Results released by Bayside school, Westside school, and Gibraltar College, a total of 123 students sat for the Spanish A-level, more than any other subject, and all of them passed, with almost half receiving B’s and above.
These results come on the heels of closing of the Cervantes Institute in Gibraltar earlier this year, decided by the Spanish foreign minister on the grounds that ‘everyone speaks it except for the apes’.
Overall, each school experienced a 2% rise in pass levels.
