British tourist hit by car outside Ibiza nightclub

A 20-YEAR-OLD British woman is in intensive care after she was hit by a car outside an Ibiza nightclub.

The victim, identified only by the initials C.M., was rushed to the Nuestra Senora del Rosario medical centre with a fractured pelvis.

She and a second woman, a 31-year-old Argentinian identified as F.D., were struck by the car outside the Amnesia Disco near San Rafael at 6am on Tuesday morning.

The second victim suffered injuries to her knee and ankle and has been released from the same hospital.

The Amnesia Disco is famous for hosting such celebrities as American heiress Paris Hilton, who is performing as a DJ at the club until mid-September.
