ANYONE found wandering through the streets of Ador, near Valencia, on a midday stroll will be sent straight to bed without lunch.
Because Mayor Jose Faus Vitoria has decreed a mandatory siesta from 2pm until 5pm every day.
And as if enforcing bedtimes wasn’t enough trouble, parents are required to keep their children inside while loud music and television are prohibited.
Mayor Vitoria introduced this necessary nap in response to the heat wave to lower the risk of heat stroke in the agricultural town.
