SHE is anything but a desperate housewife.
Donning her glad rags, Eva Longoria is hosting the Global Gift Foundation’s Philanthropic Weekend on July 4 and 5.
The American actress is no stranger to Marbella and turned heads this time last year for the same annual event.
This year’s agenda includes a gold tournament at La Quinta and a gala evening at Gran Melia Don Pepe hotel.
The opulent star-studded 300-strong guest list includes names as big as Prison Break’s Amaury Nolaso and CSI Miami’s Eva la Rue as well as a performance from Black Eyed Peas’ Taboo.
The fundraiser, which premiered six years ago, is thought to have raised over €140,000 for various charities, including the Eva Longoria Foundation, since it began.
But please tell us, is she going to buy a house in Marbella. Hahahahaha.
Marion, perhaps she may or perhaps elsewhere in Spain but it doesn’t mean she will actually live there. As you well know, many rich and successful people purchase a home in Spain as a bolt hole and lets face it Spain can offer a great life style for the rich so please don’t confuse them with the type of holiday maker that tends to give Spain a bad name, or people that just couldn’t make it in Spain, so prey tell us, as you are such an expert on Spain, why do you think they purchase here.

I live nearby the Gran Melia so I can see why she would come to visit me for this charity affair, but WHO are these “other 3 celebrities” ?? Marion – it does not matter whether she BUYS a HOUSE – about 60-70% of property owners on CDS are used only for Holiday Occupancy.
