Andalucia hotel stays 10% up on last year

ALMOST 10% more overnight stays were recorded in Andalucia hotels in the first quarter of 2015 than in the same period the year before.

Hotels and guesthouses across the region recorded almost 7.1 million overnight stays which is 9.4% higher than the start of 2014.

Even more good news – hotels are forecasting 80% occupancy for the upcoming May bank holiday, 5% up on last year, according to Luciano Alonso, Andalucia Minister of Tourism.
