TOWIE star Elliott Wright enjoyed an evening out in Puerto Banus with Sky sports presenter Jeff Stelling to celebrate moving to the Costa del Sol to start a new business venture.
Wright, who will run the Restaurante Mijas Playa in La Cala having said goodbye to reality TV show The Only Way is Essex, enjoyed an evening in La Sala, Puerto Banus with celebrity friends.
The reality TV star, who has a background in hospitality, kept the location of his new venture shrouded in secrecy and the information that he will run the La Cala venue has only just been released.
La Sala has attracted many star-studded names in the past, from football’s Ashley Cole and Harry Redknapp to Prince Albert of Monaco and Sir Alan Sugar.
The Mijas Playa used to be one of our favourite places but has gone down with the owners over the past few years. Good luck. Hope it gets back to what it was. Spent many happy evenings there.
Good luck in your new venture, I hear Mijas playa has been a fabulous bar in the past look forward to your opening x
I hope it’s returned to its former glory NOT another Towie style bar. La Cala will be ruined if that is allowed to happen.
Totally agree . Will be a big mistake . I hope it doesn’t work out
I have eaten there hundreds of times over the years especially when Peter Dean and daughter Nikky ran it. (They ran the Valparaiso before in the 80s) Great ambiance, service was grand, nice presentation, superb Xmas parties etc. Then Jerry took over I think, later the Italian chap ran it and went down. Too many expenses I reckon. I guess it will be a rowdy place and I feel sorry for the owners there of the surrounding properties. Too brash, La Cala does not need any more noise. Let’s see how long they last.
Just an opinion
Went on Saturday night! Fab night. Live music, then dj when the doors shut at 1am. Drinks more reasonable that benalmadena marina, and generally a brilliant night with very classy decor, I loved it and can’t wait for the next night with food included :-)
I suppose the nearby houses are really pleased about the late disco. Roll eyes.
Think I am sad, I had to look up what Towie was :(
The best thing about Marbella is that it keeps the awful TOWIE and ‘Marbs’ crowd as far away from me as possible. Bliss.
