AN OLYPMIC diver who competed for Britain in the 1956 Olympics has been found dead in his Benidorm villa with his wife.
The expat couple were found shot dead on the sofa.
Peter and Jean Tarsey, both 77, had been living in Xalo, near Benidorm, on Spain’s Costa Blanca for 18 years.
He was found in the arms of his wife, surrounded by bullet casings, at 4.15pm yesterday.
The couple reportedly have two grown up sons and are thought to have been killed with a small calibre gun, fired multiple times.
It is not yet clear whether violence or robbery were involved, but with no evidence of forced entry, the Spanish police initially ruled these options out.
Peter Tarsey also competed in two Commonwealth Games.
