EIGHT Spaniards have been arrested for fighting with pro-Russians in Ukraine.
The men were identified through a series of photographs showing them with Russian war material.
They have been charged with taking part in assassinations and of being in possession of explosives.
Three of the accused are believed to be ex-soldiers and all are aged between 20 and 30.
The arrests took place this morning in Asturias, Catalunya, Extremadura, Murcia, Navarra and Madrid.
All stand accused of taking part in armed conflict in the region of Donbass.
