REAL Sociedad manager, David Moyes, is eyeing up a move for Newcastle United’s Sammy Ameobi.
The tricky winger is out of contract at the end of the season but is reportedly keen to stay with the Toon.
Moyes has been linked with a number of Premier League players, including Burnley striker Danny Ings, since taking over the La Liga side.
Discussions are currently ongoing between Ameobi’s representatives and Newcastle with a view to keeping the player.
But Moyes is looking to turn Ameobi’s head towards Spain, with a number of Premier League clubs also said to be interested if contract negotiations break down.
The England U-21 international broke into Newcastle’s first-team at the end of last season under former manager Alan Pardew and has featured prominently under caretaker manager John Carver.
