Acid attack in Marbella

A 23-year-old man has been arrested for throwing a corrosive substance at a 20-year-old man when leaving a Marbella nightclub.

The victim suffered severe burns to his face and chest and was treated at Marbella’s Regional Hospital for eight days.

The incident took place on December 13 following an alleged scuffle inside the club.

After leaving the club the accused reportedly approached his victim from behind and called him by his nickname.

As the man turned to face his attacker he was hit in the face by the toxic substance.

  1. It’s amazing what products can be bought over the counter in Spain from Agua Fuerte to heavy duty pipe cleaning liquids! I remember seeing a documentary on Katie Piper, and her fight after a similar attack, what a cowardly and heinous crime
