JUNTA de Andalucia boss Susana Diaz has come under fire from the head of the Partido Popular in Cadiz for having no interest in the region she governs.

Antonio Sanz said that these were ‘times of corrupt politicians’ and that Diaz (PSOE) ‘isn’t interested in Andalucia, she doesn’t govern or manage anything; she isn’t a president, she’s just the leader of Pedro Sanchez’s opposition’.

“There are more cases of corruption in the Junta now than there were before the current President of the Junta, Susana Diaz,” added the deputy PP spokesman in the Andalucian Parliament.

“We live with daily scandals, new cases of corruption affect the Andalucian government every day and we cannot continue this way.”

Andalusian PP President Juan Manuel Moreno met with Prime Minister Rajoy last week which, Sanz stated, ‘demonstrated Rajoy’s commitment to Andalucia’ and ‘the strength and weight’ of Andalucia’s PP party, as well as Moreno’s importance within central government.

  1. The sooner they get rid of that whole layer of overpaid corrupt wasters the better. Get the power back to central control and standardise rules and regulations for the whole country making things more transparent and fairer for all.

  2. dan glibballs, you are so right. The PSOE led Junta de Andalucia has been in power for far too long, has achieved nothing and is not fit for purpose. The so called “illegal” property situation is entirely their fault and they continue to preside over this dynsfunctional mess that has ruined the economy. They have the power to change it tomorrow but they refuse to do so.

The central government in Madrid should remove these powers from them and overturn the demolition orders. They are not capable of running the region they were elected to govern.

Regional goverments are a very expensive and inefficient way of governing, they should be downsized and turned into to regional councils.
