SUPERMAN actor Henry Cavill soared to the top of the Rock as part of the Royal Marine’s 350th anniversary celebrations.
The Man of Steel star joined his brother Lieutenant Colonel Nik Cavill and 40 other competitors for the five km uphill Rock Run on October 25.
Cavill said he was ‘honoured’ to take part and will ‘remember the day fondly’.
The British actor later appeared at the Rock’s memorial parade before an evening in Dusk nightclub where he posed for photos with excited fans.
Cavill, who is currently working on two Superman spin-off films, is also ambassador for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.
