Jacqueline Fanchini (Reporter)THE Society for Agrarian Transformation (TROPS) has begun expanding its facilities in El Trapiche, investing €2 million in the Axarquia.
The foremost trader of tropical fruits in Spain, TROPS has said it aims to complete the project by the end of 2015.
The ambitious investment hopes to triple fruit sales this year and to bring much-needed jobs to an area of Spain still feeling the effects of the financial crisis.
