Frozen yoghurt revolution hits Spain

SPAIN may see a massive rise in frozen yoghurt (FroYo) sales this holiday season as Britons get a taste for the healthy ice cream alternative.

According to new research from Mintel, sales of the tasty treat have risen 117% from 2011 to 2014, raking in some £13 million (€16.4 million).

This comes to the disdain of ice cream makers, who have suffered a 345 million litre drop in sales since 2013.
