BREAKING: 21 immigrants rescued in Strait of Gibraltar

TWO boats carrying a total of 21 immigrants have been rescued this morning in Cadiz.

The first, intercepted at 7:21 am, was carrying 11 people. The second, carrying nine men and one pregnant woman was found at 8 am by maritime rescue boat ‘Salvamar Akaid’, 7.5 miles off the coast of Tarifa.

They have been brought to the Port of Cadiz for the time being.
