Tony Blair and family spotted taking Costa del Sol break

WHILE current British Prime Minister David Cameron is nursing his jellyfish sting in Lanzarote, Tony Blair and his family have been spotted sunning themselves in Marbella.

The family reportedly took a stroll around Marbella’s old town streets, accompanied by three bodyguards who tried to stop people taking photographs.

The children were seen gawping at the window of a toy shop, while Cherie and an unknown female companion went clothes shopping.

The former prime minister was happy enough to greet passers by, but his security team did their best to politely fend off any growing interest.

The family also visited the church – Iglesia de la Encarnacion – where they explored inside without being stopped.

Tony and Cherie came on holiday to Andalucia back in 2012, soaking up the rays at a friend’s house in Benahavis.

That time, the ex-politician and his wife Cherie  were spotted dining in Puerto Banus after attending Sunday mass at San Pedro’s parish church.

  1. ‘His three bodyguards’ at what cost to the UK taxpayer?

These politicians live in a world of their own, can b—-r up economies, start wars, do shady arms deals etc, get invitations from similar dodgy politicians and crooks Berlusconi etc, rob the masses, buy 2nd/3rd/4th homes etc from questionable property dealers without paying CGT on profits, and we the people have to support their security for life. I say let them pay for their own security!

  2. A well-publicized, very wealthy couple – who reportedly spent nothing in Marbella Old Town, nor even tried on anything to buy. One would think this couple would have enough brains to spend abit of the dosh they have plenty of, to show support to the shops/Town they vacationed at.
Maybe they didn’t have Mandelson or Brown with them telling them what to do? Hopefully they’ll visit elsewhere next time to show their “economic support” – Ukraine is nice!
