SPANISH police are hunting the killer of wealthy jeweller Andrew Bush from Bristol who was shot in the head at his beachside villa in Cancelada, between San Pedro and Estepona on the Costa del Sol.
The man and his current girlfriend are said to have been ambushed by a woman lying in wait for the pair at their home at 2am on Saturday morning.
Emergency services discovered the businessman’s body after his girlfriend made a 112 call after the attack.
The pair are believed to have been ambushed by a woman, who police suspect may be the man’s ex-girlfriend. Police are still searching for her after she escaped from the scene in her alleged victim’s Hummer.
Several photographs on Facebook show Mr Bush embracing a blonde model, Mayka Kukucova, who is Slovakian and who is believed to be an ex-girlfriend.
A spokesman for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said: “We are aware of the death of a British national in Estepona, Malaga, on 5 April.
“We are in touch with local authorities and are providing consular assistance to the family.”
