THREE judo stars from Estepona took their UK rivals to task in a recent contest.
Ryan Whitehead, Ben Barkby and Tom Whybrow travelled to the Southfields Judo Kan Open Championships last weekend, scooping two medals between them.
Ryan took a gold medal in the under 10s event, while 10-year-old Ben beat all but two over 12s to scoop the bronze medal in his category.
The event was attended over 240 competitors from all over the U.K, and the R.K players (nickname the Raiders) proved to be a real handful for their opponents.
The three boys, along with four other members of more club members will be traveling again to the U.K in May for the British National Championships.
