Spanish revenue for Vodafone drops dramatically

vodafone

VODAFONE’S Spanish service revenues have declined by 11.3%.

The drop is the second worst in Europe, the worst being seen in Italy, where revenues fell by 13.8%.

The mobile operator said the figures reflect the lower usage from existing customers but that it was continuing to invest in areas of potential growth.

Chief Executive Vittorio Colao said: “Our results continue to reflect very difficult market conditions in Europe.”

Despite the drop, shares in the company have risen by 2% in the UK.

  1. not surprising vodaphone Spanish operation is typical, hostile customer relationship with badly trained chewing gum, unhelpful staff they don’t deserve to be a successful company its almost impossible to get any kind of service from them appalling!

  2. My experience is these people see customers as an inconvenience and treat non Spanish speakers as idiots not capable of operating a phone. Dongles don’t work but they don’t want to know. Cost me plenty.
They will never get my money again. Rip off merchants.

  3. They installed a router that never worked from day one, then replaced it even though it was a firmware issue with the router model. Then they tried to claim min contract even though the system never worked when I cancelled. Customer service is hopeless and never ever again will I use them.
