A THIEF who mugged his victims with a Yorkshire terrier by his side has been arrested by police in Almeria.

The man is accused of using the pint-sized pooch as an accomplice in 14 violent attacks on youngsters over the last few months in which he also threatened them with a knife.

Police are now investigating whether the thief, who has been remanded in custody to await trial, may have committed a string of other offences.
