Spanish benevolence once again to the service of the colonial interests.
Come on Monarch, Easyjet, Jet2 and Ryanair how about any one of three:
Glasgow International to Gibraltar,
Glasgow Prestwick to Gibraltar, or
Edinburgh to Gibraltar
and if you can’t manage Gibraltar how about Jerez or Sevilla.
There are no flights out of Scotland to anywhere in south west España.
I totally agree… i thought with the new refit of gib airport that we might see flights from scotland, or someone picking up the route to jerez :-(
Exiting news perhaps…

Come on Monarch…let’s get Glasgow and Gibraltar connected!!
Thanks for this Kieran. I hope they get this sorted soon, we have not booked yet for summer but plan to be in Chiclana de la Frontera and Olvera as usual. A flight from Glasgow which is only 40 minutes from my home would be such an improvement on having to go to Manchester.
For your information Edinburgh Airport has a £15 million budget for attracting new routes, this was announced in the Scottish press last Friday. Truthfully, I do not mind which airport Monarch choose as Edinburgh is only an hour distant but I wish they would hurry up about it.
