renfe strikes august spain affecting cercanias de malaga

TRAIN strikes will hit Spain on August 3, as Renfe workers show their dissatisfaction for plans to privatise parts of the network.

Long-distance and AVE trains will be reduced to 75% of their usual service.

The Cercanias in Malaga will also be affected, with 60% of trains running.

Services will resume more usual timetable during peak hours.

On the C-2 line however only half the services will run.
