SPANISH golfer Sergio Garcia is feeling a bit of an albatross.
The pro revealed to reporters he doesn’t believe he is capable of winning a major title.
“I’m not good enough,” he said.
“I’ve been trying for 13 years and I don’t feel capable of winning.
“I’m not good enough for the majors. That’s it.”
The comments followed a dismal third round at the Masters in Atlanta which was later won by Bubba Watson.
It leaves the 32-year-old with no win out of 54 majors despite the promising start to his career that saw him in a spectacular showdown with Tiger Woods at the 1999 PGA Championship.
It led to many believing he would be the greatest player of his generation.
