Zero-budget zombie films in Sevilla

By Eloise Horsfield

THEY’VE been working flat out for two years on zero budget, and now a group of young Sevillian hopefuls have produced the first episode of an online zombie series.

Using the city’s streets as their set, the 70-strong team – comprising professional actors, make-up artists and production staff – have launched Generacion Z, whose pilot episodes can be seen on www.seriegz.com.

Led by director Antonio Roda, the youngsters hope to become an internet sensation like Malviviendo, whose zombie films reached 21 million viewers on YouTube.
