Still passionate about Flamenco

A BRAND new edition of Flamenco; an Englishman’s passion will be hitting the shelves next month.

The book by English author and music journalist Tony Bryant takes the reader on a journey through Andalucia into the largely unknown world of authentic flamenco known as Cante Jondo (deep song).

The book was first published in 2006 by Flamenco Sapiens, the editorial section of the Museo del Baile Flamenco, and became one of its best-selling books – and its only flamenco book in English.

It is now being republished by Books4Spain.

  1. Sounds good. I thought Jason Webster’s “Duende” in search of flamenco was a vivid depiction of the world of flamenco. It is a gritty, hands on book which explores this world.
