SPANISH detectives have handed eight ‘very important’ new leads to Scotland Yard in the search for Madeleine McCann.
Barcelona firm Metodo 3 – who have been investigating the disappearance of the girl – are reported to have held talks with four officers from the Metropolitan Police.
On Tuesday 30 boxes of documents were picked up from Spain, including what investigator Francisco Marco Fernadez says contains ‘six, seven or eight very important leads’ in the hunt for the missing girl.
A Scotland Yard spokesman would not confirm or deny the meeting.
