Ginger joy

IT adds a nice zing to your stir fries – but a new report shows that ginger can also get rid of terrible headaches.

In a US trial where migraine sufferers were given either a ginger compound or a placebo, 32 per cent of the ginger munchers were pain-free after just two hours.

Researchers believe that the root vegetable combined with feverfew, a daisy-like shrub, has anti-inflammatory properties that relieve symptoms.
