Movember, Movember

By Eloise Horsfield

EXPAT Marcus Patterson is set to spend ‘Movember’ sprouting a fetching moustache for charity.

Movember – a combination of ‘moustache’ and ‘November’ – sees participants growing facial hair to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer.

“In Spain it’s not a big thing yet,” said Marcus, 34, who is strongly considering making his a Fu Manchu.

“My friend Salva recently nearly died from testicular cancer. He has just come out of Malaga Hospital. He lost a testicle, but somehow he has beaten it.”
