Moroccan man remanded after Swedish student death

A MAN accused of killing a Swedish student has been remanded in custody.

The 30-year-old Moroccan appeared in court accused of stabbing to death Sandra Eleonora Karlson, 19, at the El Cid hostel in Fuengirola last week.

The girl’s friend – who also suffered injuries to her hands and neck – was in court along with the dead girl’s family.

The man is alleged to have broken into the girls’ room in an attempt to sexually assault them, having earlier met them at a nightclub
