The nineteenth hole in Spain

IT was a great meeting of minds when Birmingham City stars took full advantage of a recent international break to celebrate their win over Arsenal in the Carling Cup Final.

The players – who were also celebrating staying up in the Premier League – indulged in a spot of golf before heading to La Sala restaurant in Puerto Banus, where both Stephen Carr and David Bentley are investors.

Carr told the Olive Press: “The aim at the start of the season was to stay up and we look like achieving that, which is great.”
