British Army signs Sevilla waterproof deal

A RANGE of waterproof clothing is being designed for the British Army… by a company in one of Europe’s driest cities.

Sevilla-based company Iturri has won a 27 million euro contract to produce 26 different items, including raincoats, trousers and sleeping bag covers.

The company, set up in 1947, already supplies 600,000 pairs of boots a year for the British army.
