Orange severe weather alerts in Andalucia

HEAVY rain is forecast today across the western regions of Andalucia. AEMET, the Spanish Meteorological  Office has issued orange and yellow alerts for the the area.

Up to 90mm of rain could fall in a 12 hour period in the Serrania de Ronda, Guadalhorce and Costa del Sol. There is also the risk of very strong gusts of wind up to 70km/h.

The areas effected by the orange weather warnings are in Malaga and Sevilla while yellow warnings are in place for  Huelva, Cordoba and Granada.
