Missing child washed away by floods is found dead

A YOUNG boy who went missing in last night’s floods is reported dead.

Rescue teams found his body on a riverbank in Almodovar del Campo near Ciudad Real a mile away from where his family’s car was washed away by swirling water.

The nine-year-old remained trapped inside the vehicle as his parents and brother managed to escape in time.
