PUTTING to bed any rumours of discontent in the ranks of the American Club of the Costa del Sol, over 150 members and guests gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving in style.

Following a difficult year for the Marbella chapter, which saw some members form a break-away club, the remaining majority still joined in the festivities which included a traditional meal of turkey with all the trimmings.

And the club, which was formed 36 years ago, also took the opportunity to present founding member Dorothy Kravitz with the Dr Paul Castelle Award for her outstanding contribution to the club.
