It was at first thought 65-year-old Ernesto Muñoz, a chaplain at the San Antonio Abad Church, in Sevilla, had died from natural causes at his home.
However an autopsy showed he had been suffocated to death.
The teenage sex workers are now awaiting trial in prison charged with murder and one count of theft.
