Goyesca for Ken

HIS award-winning film Land and Freedom is an accurate and moving study of life during the Spanish Civil War.

Now, legendary British film director Ken Loach is to be the guest of honour at a new political film festival being launched this Autumn.

He will be presented with the Goyesca de Honor for his 1995 film at Ronda’s first Festival of Political Cinema in November.

The festival will feature several films by the world renowned director, including his latest work Route Irish.

Known for his socialist beliefs he is a prime candidate for the award which is being given in recognition of his life’s work.

The festival will be held from November 27 to December 4.
