5000 euros for our missing Yorkies!

A COUPLE are offering a huge reward for the safe return of their pet Yorkies.

The expat couple are devastated after Toto and Emma were stolen from their holiday home in Huelva, two weeks ago.

While they believe it is an ‘inside job’, Steven Hall and Sunnuva Gulklett have resorted to offering 5,000 euros after police failed to take any interest in the theft.

The pair, who live in London, had returned to their holiday home, near Ayamonte, to discover both dogs stolen, along with their Louis Vuitton carrying bag.

“We are devastated and I fear that my mother’s heart is about to break.”

“Thieves stole a few other things, but despite it being the third robbery in just a week in the same area, police haven’t even bothered to take fingerprints in the house,” said Sunnuva.

The pedigree Yorkshire Terriers – who are 13 and 14 years old – both belong to Sunnova’s mother.

Convinced the dogs were “stolen to order”, they hope that the thieves, or their friends or neighbours, will get in touch for the reward.

“It is a lot of money, but we really want to get them back,” said Sunnuva, whose mother spends half the year in Andalucia. “They both mean so much to us.

“We are devastated and I fear that my mother’s heart is about to break.”

She continued: “They are too old to breed and in real terms are not worth anything like we are offering.”

She believes there are gangs stealing valuable pedigree dogs to order.

“A friend of ours nearly had her Yorkshire Terrier stolen last month, when a man picked it up and tried to walk off with it.”

The pair are both microchipped and carry registration numbers tattooed to their bellies.
