Cameron’s ‘secret’ trip to Andalucia

DAVID Cameron has spoken for the first time about a recent visit to Ronda which he thought he had kept under wraps.

Speaking on Talk Radio Europe, the British Conservative Party leader described the trip as “lovely and quiet”.

But Cameron’s trip didn’t in fact escape the attentions of the Olive Press, who reported on his holiday with wife Samantha and children in Andalucia last May.

“Of course we got there and it rained every day. But we had a lovely time and it’s a fantastic part of the world.”

We wrote how he had stayed in Ronda’s Fuente de la Higuera hotel and spent his time walking and horse riding.

“Ronda is one of the most beautiful towns on earth,” enthused Cameron on air.

“Of course we got there and it rained every day. But we had a lovely time and it’s a fantastic part of the world.”

Cameron’s comments came as the general election battle is heating up in Britain.

The first television debate between the leaders of the main three parties has already taken place.

Unfortunately for Cameron, he came over as nervous and was drubbed by Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg, who emerged as the clear winner in the Manchester debate.

He must have wished he was back in the Spanish mountains!
