IT is a clever marketing exercise rarely seen in Southern Spain.
But the Malaga wine authorities have come up with this artistic idea to promote its vinos abroad. Matching some of the region’s best wines with a series of its best artists has produced ten stylish, must-have bottles.
Using the concept of France’s Chateau Mouton Rothschild, the ten artists were asked to provide a particular painting to match each wine.
Most with a vino flavour, five are sweet wines from the Malaga DO and five are from the DO Sierras de Malaga.
